Job Description:
A company is looking for a Coding Audit and Education Specialist
responsible for coding and auditing in various healthcare
settings.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct facility and professional coding and auditing, including
edits and denials resolution
Develop and deliver coding education and training to both internal
coders and external customers
Maintain accurate records and analyze trends in coding and auditing
performance
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Minimum of 10 years of experience in inpatient and outpatient
coding
Coding certifications such as Certified Inpatient Coder (CIC) or
Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) required
Some college education or equivalent experience preferred
Experience in training and mentoring others
Knowledge of healthcare billing practices and reimbursement
systems
