  Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Labor and Delivery Shift: Nights / 7p-7a (12x3) 36 hours per week, EOW Length: 13 weeks Requirements:
  • AL License
  • 4 years experience
  • Must have 4 years OB/Nursery experience
  • Must be able to work for labor and delivery, mother baby, and Gyn
  • Newborn Nursery experience
  • Must have ACLS & BLS, NRP, AWHONN intermediate & STABLE certifications must be attached to submission packet (Must be through the American Heart Association)
  • Must have newborn nursery experience up to Level II, but ability to stabilize at Level III would be preferred (to stabilize a newborn for transfer to a higher level of care or a NICU)If there is low census on the unit, this nurse will be reassigned to "task" in the Emergency Department (ED) or possibly on Med/Surg or Pediatrics. Tasking includes starting IVs, giving medications (IV, IM and PO), helping to ambulate patients, turning patients, obtaining vital signs (VS), collecting Intake and Output (I&Os), assisting with admission assessments, putting in orders, etc. These nurses that are sent to task will not be assigned a team of patients but to task only in the event that we get an OB patient in.
