Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Technician/Mechanic to join our team at a state-of-the-art facility in Prattville, AL.
This brand-new facility is scheduled to open in August 2024, with interviews beginning in July 2024.
We are looking for technicians who are energetic, upbeat, and have a positive attitude, with a strong passion for doing what's right for our guests.
Responsibilities include:

• 
  
• Diagnosing and fixing vehicles for our guests
  
• Building experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles
  
• Completing full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections
  
• Working as part of a team to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively
  
• FOLLOWING AND PROMOTING OUR HIGH STANDARDS OF SAFETY, CLEANLINESS, AND ORGANIZATION
  
• Working closely with the service department and effectively communicating guest concerns
  
• Working together with other Technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results
  
  Qualifications:
  
  • 
    
  • A positive attitude and a desire to serve guests
    
  • 3+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
    
  • ASE Certifications preferred, or a plan to achieve
    
  • Ability to diagnose and repair all makes/models of vehicles
    
  • Meet or exceed hourly goals
    
  • Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
    
  • Professional appearance and strong communication
    
  • A desire for long-term career development
    
    Physical Requirements:
    
    • 
      
    • Occasionally lifting and/or moving over 100 pounds
      
    • Ability to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
      
    • Ability to work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair
      
    • Needed dexterity to efficiently use hand tools
      
    • Ability to walk/stand for the majority of their workday
      
    • Ability to drive manual transmissions vehicles
      
    • Ability to efficiently navigate a computer
