Job Description:

We provide luxury remodeling services to homeowners in Tallahassee. As our salesperson and estimator you will work closely with our designers, content specialist and showroom manager.



Examples of good potential candidates:



--- A design professional who enjoys concept development and sales. We can train you on our estimate system
--- A construction professional who enjoys estimating and sales. We can assist with concept development while you learn basic design principles and software.
--- A salesperson with experience in the construction industry and training in kitchen and bath design. We can teach you our estimating system.


Soft Skills for this role:
Our sales method is based on educating clients and asking questions to better understand their needs. It requires deep knowledge of both construction and design. We do not believe in the 'challenge' method of sales or 'objection handling'.

Hard Skills for this role:
This role requires expertise and skill in design and construction.

--- Estimating using unit cost and assembly methods
--- Knowledge of home construction techniques basic engineering principles
--- Understanding of NKBA design principles


Compensation:
We provide very competitive salaries with significant year end bonus opportunities. We also provide health insurance, 3 weeks PTO, 14 paid holidays and a paid week off from Christmas to New Years. We also provide a company vehicle for sales calls.

This is an in office position, there are no remote opportunities, but the role requires travelling to clients homes 5-10 times per week.

Responsibilities:
--- Host Phone or video Call with potential clients to qualify them
--- Attend home visit to get measurements and discuss client's remodeling needs/ideas
--- Create initial estimate and design concept
--- Host showroom visit to present budget and initial design concept.
--- Follow up as needed

Qualifications:

--- Must have a valid U.S. driver's license and be able to travel by car
--- Superb communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as interpersonal skills and time management skills
--- Experience with unit cost and assembly methods of estimating in residential construction
--- Familiar with NKBA design standards
